President Trump's dithering for the months of January, February and early March clearly show that he has “blood on his hands” and is responsible for some part of the magnitude of the number of deaths from COVID-19. He did ban those incoming from China on January 21 and Europe later, but when speaking to the nation at this time in various press conferences, tweets and rallies he diminished the virulence of the disease, discouraged economically closing down the country and practicing social distancing.
Now, the figurative blood extends up to his elbows with his support of protests in various states against social distancing and closing businesses. This “blood” is something that no amount of spinning in press conferences, blaming of governors and democrats can erase. We all know who is responsible.
