We’ve heard, “We’re all in this together!” Well, not anymore. Not since protests against staying home started and people are frolicking on the beaches of Florida with Trump’s blessing.

“They want their lives back!” Don’t we all?

Trump’s mixed messaging has divided us again. “I have total control! The governors are in charge! Wear a mask! It’s only a recommendation! We will listen to the science! We have to reopen our country!”

Trump issues guidelines one day and sides with protesters disobeying them the next! One thing matters to him: Being re-elected. His economy was his one-trick pony and now that it is in the toilet, he sees his re-election prospects there too. The daily briefing” is painful to watch.

Defensive? Look it up in the dictionary, you’ll see his picture.

Trump downplayed the virus threat for months, saying it would “magically disappear in April” and assured us that we had it “completely under control” when we didn’t. “We’re testing everyone we need to test and we’re finding very few problems.” Lie. It was wishful thinking and a high hope that the economy wouldn’t drop like a stone, along with his chances of re-election.

His China ban only applied to Chinese nationals, and at least 40,000 people still arrived from China. He lies about that daily. He “bought time,” then wasted the month of February misleading us. His tweets prove he thought China was doing a great job. Out of touch, denial, or ignorance?

What about our “Heroes”? For risking their lives, Trump shows his gratitude and respect by encouraging protests and allowing the possibility of the virus returning, just when our heroes think they have saved us! Deplorable and desperate.

The economy and his re-election “Trump” American lives.
