On Sunday, April 5, Palm Sunday (which was a beautiful, warm spring day — perfect to be out of the house), I was told by an employee of Walmart/Newton that people with young children and babies (with no social distancing or masks) were strolling through Walmart shopping for clothes and electronics.

First, why would anyone bring young children into a store, and second, why are these non-essential areas in Walmart (and all stores) not shut down?

I can see the need to go into Walmart to get food, pharmaceutical or hygiene products, pet food or cleaning supplies (if available) but to put their families and the associates in danger is just ignorant and selfish.

I believe the majority of the people are doing their best to keep themselves and others from risk, but the stupidity of others is just unbelievable.

Everyone needs to step up and protect each other and help keep everyone safe.
