The Hudson Valley Mountaineers continued the hot start to their inaugural season with Saturday's 38-13 win over the Plattsburgh North Stars in the Mountaineers' Empire Football League game at Faller Field in Middletown.

Hudson Valley (5-1) faced a field-goal deficit early, but behind quarterback Al Dockery's three touchdowns and two scores from safety Jovan Wilkins, the Mountaineers took an 18-3 lead into halftime and pulled away in the second half to stay undefeated at home.

Only four games remain in the regular season for Hudson Valley. The Mountaineers return to Faller Field on Saturday to face Tri-City.
